Bride Blog Gathering - The Review

Sorry darlings, this entree come later than expected..
(well better be late than never right)

Here are cover stories on this,
The event was organised by Ex-B2b which also a member of a Bride-to-be Group
The objective of it from what i observed simply to share stories and social meet up
So, we decided to attend to this special invitation when the organiser personally email us.
With some repropose of ideas, we finally mutually agreed on our session.

First of all, the venue;
Flora Terrace is already a beautiful cozy restaurant. Decoration was glamorous enough!
Food are pretty much an OK i would rate. However love their fruit punch drink and tarts!
But most importantly, their services are great! Nice friendly waiter/waitress.

The Vendors;
The organiser had arranged some cool vendors just outside of the venue.
Wedding service provider (also bloggers) and hijab booths took part.
I think this idea is cool! At least participants had other activities to do, while waiting for the event or the Que. for long Que. for tea!. They are;

The Event;
As you already knew, the Agenda of the event was pretty much straight
A platform for social meet up, the organiser has prepared light and relax itinerary for the participants.
Time were properly monitored making the event went smooth.
Special bravo to the emcee of the event that make the event lively!

Winners for 4weddingku Blog Awards 2012

Hi darlings,
As some already knew, we have announced the winner for 2012 4weddingku Blog Awards via the Bride Blog Gathering recently.
We were invited as their special guest.
So with that, we had the 15 minutes special appearance from the host.
We shall review more on the event in our next post. (Dyana couldn't make it, so it was only Mya)

I must share this, picking the winner for this year was the toughest of all.
Reason simply because the trend of blogging nowadays are slightly different than the old days especially from the content perspective.
It is quite a challenge to search blog that just share on wedding journey/tips.
But as i mentioned in the event, as it nothing wrong with that.
We must blog something that we have complete passion, so if the passion are multi interest i.e photography, cooking, shopping etc, so be it.
However, the blog layout and design are way cool-er and gorgeous. Simply amazing to know as mostly are made by the bride itself!
I also fall salute how structured bloggers nowadays i.e. categorizing via state, year etc.
So much clean and neat.

As previous years, some might not fully agreed to our pick but we believed, they have all the criteria.

Doesnt matter she (the bride) already married in 2011 or still in her journey

We've gone through most of them!

In our opinion, 2011 pattern; was sharing most of DIY ideas.

1. Most Inspired Bride 2010 - Renda Perancis
Somehow when i read her blog, i saw mysef 5 years ago. Collecting & posting beautiful wedding images as 'the goal' for my very own wedding. And i must said most of her choice are simply gorgeous. She not only shares just expensive items, she shares great findings too...
Pssst Cik Belle ... i too with my 'Arjuna' for long relationship (10 years) before we decided to get hitched! So who said people can not stay long for love relationship right!


2. Most Glamourous Bride 2010-Hazlynda Kushairi
OK! In wedding blog world.. who isn't aware of the existance of this beautiful bride? (Her name pun dah strong!). First of all, conratulations on your gorgeous wedding (Yes! she appeared in magazine. So just get it to see more). I dont know her personally but from readings, she seems very humble. My dear lynda... my words to you : "Follow your heart. Although it is on your left, but it is always RIGHT".. Her style of blogging simply amazed me. Simple but real! Just check out he long list of comments already justify why she is our "Glamourous Bride". Keep on blogging dear although the topics might not relevant with wedding anymore. Can'tt wait your story telling your wife journey pulak!


3. Most Fabulous Bride 2010 - Ash and Ann
This need no introduction too from 4weddingku. What is not t be love about this bride? ONE word to describe her blog, her personality, her wedding ... FABULOUS! .. Period ..
Personally, i think wedding are amongst gorgeous wedding i saw via blog in 2010. Sangat original and Chanteeekkk!!!! (jeles-jeles). So she will be a wedding planner soon... 4weddingku supports you! Insya Allah will be featuring your creations here! We wish you good luck & Congratulations dear on your pregnancy!


4. Most Creative Bride 2010 - I is EX`miss bride to be
Our Puan Aim also needs no intro. We have featured her TWICE as monthly blogger. So i think i do not need to deliberate why we choosed her. Love her blog! Love her blog! Love her blog! It is a cute blog! . If you view her Fabulous Flora , you too will fall inlove with her creations! Gorgeous! If i was'nt a wedding planner myself dear, i will be hiring you for my wedding! heheh..

5. Most Favourite Bride 201 - Dia Terima Nikahnya
She is our favourite simply beacuse we feel her blogging. She is like real!. She blog from her heart. (Sorry if others do not feel the same way). Mostly what ever she posted as wedding references, we too love it! I think she must put extra effort in sourcing these beautiful wedding inspiration. They way she made review too is honest! Way to go girl!

There you have our own reason why we choosed them.
